Pope Francis, a man who sadly left the world towards the end of April of 2025, was not only the head of the Catholic Church and represented good faith for millions of Catholics, but a man who represented the grace and goodness of humanity, regardless of religion. It was such a prominent quality of him, that yet again spreaded to many, including the youth, high school students, like ourselves.
One of Pope Francis’s main beliefs that he continuously pressed on was the right to good quality education. The Pope believed that education was like a universal dimension that opened an open world for young people all over the world. He believed that teachers, who he immensely supported, had the key to open this world, strengthening a student’s passion for learning. As high school students, we should remember what this man stood for in humanity, and how he advocated for our continued writing to keep leaning and not suppress it.
“Pope Francis was a good human being. He was a great character to look up to, regardless of religion” a student exclaimed. “The world will miss him, especially the ones he made a great difference to, even us young people” they added on.
Currently the world will now look on for somebody new to take this man’s title, while his legacy still lives on. Who might that new person be currently? When will it happen? These questions are left to be answered in the future as for now.
