Central Regional’s Student Council has a lot in store for the next few months. During the monthly meeting on March 10, 2025, many upcoming events were discussed that are known and loved here at Central Regional.
One of the most notable events taking place within Central Regional is the infamous annual pep rally. The rally consists of many outdoor activities for all students to participate in including pie-eating contests, foot races, and tug-of-war. The rally activities are subject to change, and new ideas are always appreciated.
Another popular event that was discussed at the recent meeting was Central Regional’s Second Annual Student Choice Awards. Students have been emailed a Google form and can nominate teachers of their choice who they believe are deserving of recognition for all of their hard work and dedication when it comes to education. The students will then present an award to the teacher of their choosing at the ceremony on May 6, 2025.
The final events that were discussed at the meeting were potential field trips to elementary schools within the district and the nearby nursing home.
The goal behind Student Council is to illustrate the positivity within Central Regional to nearby facilities, and to the students of Central Regional as well. New members are always welcome!
