With 40 different locations around the east coast area, the quick service, healthy and fresh restaurant “honeygrow”*
is slowly but surely making positive strides in the fast food industry. The popular chain is mainly focused on creating delicious, wholesome and healthy meals consisting of locally grown and sourced fresh ingredients that come together to make a very, very good eat. With so many fast food restaurants that serve seemingly unhealthy and ingredient questionable meals, it is so refreshing to have a healthy and delicious option when you’re too lazy to cook.
One of their new locations in Toms River caught my attention on social media because I had never heard of honeygrow and am always interested in going to new places trying new food. When I found myself running errands in Toms River, I knew I had to stop by and try it. As I walked into the restaurant I was greeted by a nice colorful and modern scene with lots of seating areas, and a few friendly and enthusiastic employees who led me towards their ordering system, which is a big cool touchscreen. On the screen you can explore their whole menu on your own, stress free, which consists of many different types of stir frys, salads, and their “honeybar” (which i’ll get to later). Their choices for meals include lots of fresh vegetables, protein, and noodles with flavors ranging from spicy to sweet which you can fully customize to whatever you like. I decided to customize my own stir fry bowl with all the vegetables, protein, garnishes and sauce that I like, which I thought was pretty convenient and easy. Not only was the food delicious and flavorful, but it was also relatively price friendly and it came out pretty quickly. My family and I all enjoyed what we ordered and had a great time sitting down at their very comfy tables. As for their “honeybar”, it is the perfect way to satisfy the sweet tooth some might crave after eating a savory meal. It is a fresh dessert bar in which they offer yogurt and cheesecake bases, and lots of fresh fruit, varieties of honey,
granola, chocolate chips and lots of other sweet toppings. This bar is also completely customizable so that you can tailor it to your liking, and it was very good.
Since they have opened their location near me, I have been back about five times and everytime I go they always satisfy my craving perfectly. I have yet to have any complaints about anything they have offered me, and I definitely highly recommend you to try if you enjoy fresh, healthy, and delicious meals. Their complete customizability for every menu item, friendly service, and top tier meals definitely makes this restaurant a highly valuable and must try location that has the ability to satisfy anyone and everyone. To sum it up perfectly, from their own website, “honeygrow was born with a goal to bring people together through wholesome and simple foods.”
