There are multiple clubs and organizations in our school that have already participated in loads of activities.
For example SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) was successful in raising awareness for driving while impaired at the Eagles Take Flight event. National Honor Society has participated and run a number of events over the past month including the Mother/Son Dance, Hispanic Heritage Day, thank you cards for Respect Week, directing parents at the High School Back to School Night, Eagles Take Flight, volunteering at Fall Fest at CBW, Terror in the Halls at Potter and Harvest Fest at Bayville School.
The Autism Awareness club has started off their year with a popular fundraiser selling Christmas shirts. These shirts were advertised to staff and the club members were also selling them. The OCEAN (Our Campus Environmental Action Network) Club was asked to once again help out the Berkeley Waterways Advisory Committee and perform a beach sweep at Dudley Park on Saturday, October 21.
We have almost 30 students volunteering their time to clean up the environment. Key Club started off the year by hosting a bubble-play table at Eagles Take Flight and marching in our spirit parade.
Most of all, these clubs and activities are welcoming new members, so make sure to listen to the announcements so you are able to join.
The clubs in Central are highly active in the community and are great to be a part of. They introduce you to new people and can also help pick your passion. There are also other clubs like anatomy, astronomy, and even a surf club.
All the clubs offered in Central are made to benefit you as an individual, so make sure you check them out.
