Review: The Sims 4

The Sims is a well-loved video game that has been around for 21 years. The newest game in the Sims universe is the Sims 4. On September 2, 2014 EA relisted the Sims 4. Sims 4 was the highest quality game, it had the best pixels and the best storylines. The game can be bought for $39.00 on many different platforms like PlayStation 4, Xbox One, macOS, Microsoft Windows, Macintosh operating systems, and Classic Mac OS.

This single player game has everything and more. The original game (with no packs) comes with 3 worlds, 100’s of townies, jobs, and much more. However if you feel like you want to add more into your game, you can get a pack or two. There are 4 levels of packs in the Sims 4. Like many other sim’s games you can get an explanation, game, stuff, or a kit. Explanation packs are a bit on the pricey side which is around $39-50. But before you get turned off on the explanation packs because they’re expansion, it is worth your money. There are currently 11 expansion packs: cottage living, snowy escape, eco lifestyle, discover university, island living, get famous, seasons, cats and dogs, city living, get together, and get to work. This adds hundreds of new gameplay to your game.

Now game packs are smaller than explosion packs, but you get less gameplay. Game packs are about $20 and they include: dream home dectorer, journey to batru, realm of magic, strangerville, jungle adventure, parenthood, vampires, dine out, spa day, and outdoor retreat.

Stuff packs are one of the smaller type of packs, with the price of $10 you can buy: paranormal, nifty knitting, tiny living, mochaccino, my first pet, laundry day, toddler, fitness, bowling night, vintage glamor, backyard, kids room, romantic garden, movie hangout, spooky, cool kitchen, perfect patio, and luxury party. The smallest of the packs are the newest addiction kits. Kits are about $5 each and there are: fashion street, industrial loft, courtyard orias, throwback fit, country kitchen, and bust the dust.

As someone who plays the game and owns most of these packs I can recommend the best time to get the packs are when they are on sale, the $40 packs drop to $20 and the $20 packs go to $10, the stuff packs and kits end up being a few dollars. These sales are sometimes random but they always have sales around any new update witht the game or a holiday. I personally say my favorite pack of each would be island living, vampires, tiny living and throwback fits. The sims community is big on helping you get the best game play and they try to fix any bugs that might happen. To learn more about the Sims 4, you can go to their website.
