Halloween has come and gone but we’re still obsessing over these costumes! Featured here is a Q&A with some of Central’s best! The day in 12 interviews.

1st Interview:
Kim: Do you mind if we ask you a few questions for it? (her costume)
Christa: That’s perfectly fine.
Kim to Hailey; Wait what’s our question? Oh yeah, what are you?

Christa: I’m sort of a lady in time I tried to go Victorian style sort of dress.
Kim: Okay, it’s very pretty actually!
Christa: Yeah it kinda worked out.
Kim: And what made you choose it?
Christa: I’ve been wanting to do a period piece for a while because I usually either like cosplay or do something with my family so I wanted something for myself this year.
Hailey: It’s fun. I love it!

2nd Interview: (winner for scariest!! Or as Hailey and I knew her: Mystery girl)
Hailey and I are walking up the stairs and see her but don’t ask her for an interview. After we pass her we decide to chase her down because her outfit was so awesome. Then we forgot to ask for her name so we searched the school for her and when I asked Mr. G he gave us her name.
Kim: We are doing something for our Eagle’s Voice newspaper. Do you mind if we interview you for it?
Arina: Do I just like… about what?

Kim: It’s just about your costume.

Arina: Wait, are there questions?
Kim: Yeah, it’s two questions.
Hailey: Yeah, like what are you and why did you choose it?
Arina: because I’m edgy. Can I say that?
Hailey: Yeah!
Arina: That’s too edgy. Like saying your edgy is too edgy.
Kim: Okay so, I’m guessing you’re like a vampire?
Arina: Yeah.
Kim: Um I… sorry (people pass right in the middle of us and we stand there laughing about it). Okay so what made you choose the costume?
Arina: Because I’m edgy 🙂
Kim: See, that’s the perfect answer!

3rd Interview:
Kim: Hi Mr. Hummer. Wait, we didn’t get that girl’s name.
Hailey: Oh…
Kim: We’ll find her. So we are doing an interview for Eagles Voice. I’m guessing you’re dressed up as Billie Joe (lead singer in Green Day, and Mr.Hummer Hates Green Day) ?
Mr. Hummer: No… ?
Kim: No? Really? I don’t know. Okay so what are you?
Mr. Hummer: *Stares at me*
Kim: You just need to like speak into the phone

Mr.Hummer: I dressed as my 90’s self. (a rapper)
Kim: Your 90’s self?
Mr. Hummer: This is how I used to dress in the 90’s.
Kim: What made you choose the costume?
Mr. Hummer: I got confused .I thought it was throw back and had to dress how you did in high school.

4th Interview:
Hailey: Hi we’re from Eagle’s Voice do you mind if we ask you two questions?
Mrs. Sauer: Oh sure!
Kim: Okay so, well this is obvious, you’re a pirate!
Mrs. Sauer: Yeah!

Kim: I love it! (she had a parrot on her shoulder)
Mrs. Sauer: Thank you!
Kim: So what made you choose it?
Mrs. Sour: So I’m going on a cruise on Halloween night and I figured what better to be than a pirate!

5th Interview: (winner for funniest costume)
Kim: We’re doing an interview for Eagle’s Voice
Joe Ricci: Why?
Kim: Um, because we’re nerds, anyway what are you?
Joe: Oh, I’m Richard Simmons.

Kim: Okay, and why did you choose it?
Joe: Uh, because it looks hysterical.
Kim and Hailey in unison: Yeah, it does.

6th Interview:
Kim: We have a few questions for the Eagle’s Voice.
Mr. Langer: For what?
Hailey: It’s our online school newspaper.
Mr. Langer: Do you know where Mrs. Goldstein’s room is?
Hailey: Yeah

Mr. Langer: Ask her because she’s the one who came up with it, and her costume is much better
(We didn’t interview her.)

7th Interview:
Kim and Hailey in unison: We want to interview you for Eagle’s Voice!
Mr. Cucci: Why?
Kim: Because you have a cool costume.
Mr. Cucci: Okay, I’m not in the group thing so will that like mess it up?
Kim: No, it’s fine. What are you?
Mr. Cucci: Oh I’m just a… oh this is out loud?
Kim: Yeah I’m just videoing it.

Mr.Cucci: Oh, okay I am a disco dancer guy… a 70’s disco dancer
Kim: And what made you choose this costume?
Mr. Cucci: I had it laying around.
Kim: Perfect!
Mr. Cucci: No, we had a birthday party for somebody like a month ago and he did a 70’s themed party so I had it already so I’m like “that’s easy.”

8th Interview:
Kim: We want to interview you for Eagle’s Voice.
Joe Klutkowski: Eagles Voice?
Kim: Yeah, this is the group of banana people. What made you choose bananas?
Joe: So, uh, Brandon McMahom was at home and he was eating a banana and he got really inspired so he just made a groupchat of a whole bunch of people and said we’re being bananas for Halloween. And now we just put it in action and we’re all bananas.

Hailey: Who’s in the monkey suit?
Joe: Everyone wants to know that but….
Hailey: Is it a secret?
Joe: It’s not a secret, obviously it’s Erick, but like no one knows
Hailey: Erick who?
Joe: Erick Ianelli. Yeah he’s the monkey.

9th Interview:
Kim: Douglas come here, come here. Don’t walk away from me. Douglas. Douglas, what is your costume?
Douglas: A nerd. Obviously.
Kim: And what made you choose it?
Douglas: I don’t know. It was last minute.
Kim: Give me a better answer.

Douglas: It’s easy.
Kim: That’s not a good answer.
Douglas: Because it was… fashionable.
Kim: Fashionable? Okay.

10th interview:
Kim: What are your names?
Ava and Ashley: Ava Luciano and Ashley Baker.
Kim: What are you?

A&A: Officer Pedesco and Sikowitz (both characters from Victorious)
Kim: And what made you choose this costume?
Ava: Dan the man, my father, picked it out for us

11th interview:
Kim: Okay so what are you?
Mr. Jacobs: Akeem from “Coming to America”
Kim: What made you choose this costume?

Mr. Jacobs: It fits my personality.

12th Interview: (winner for most creative along with Zach Dean as Karen)
Kim: What is your costume?
Shay Bevins: I’m Pitbull
Kim: What made you choose it?
Shay: Because it’s a cool costume and Pitbull is sexy.
